Friendship and community have taken up a lot of space in my mind in the last year and a half, and I’ve been in a space where I’m evaluating what friendship means to me, what it looks like, the type of friend and villager I am with my friends. And I’ve realized there’s beliefs and value systems I’m having to deconstruct in order to construct something that moves me closer to the deep and abiding friendships I need and want.
