If my personality could be summed up into one designer collection, it would be Kate Spade. Drenched in vibrant color and always embodying a fun, ultra feminine aesthetic, her collections never fail to draw a smile. Virtually every item brings about a “that’s so me!” revelation and a desire to swipe my card and in turn be adorned with fabulous garments covered in everything I love — bows, sequins, candy colors, patterns upon patterns, girl power, the works.

Past and present ad campaigns forever capture the quirky essence that is Kate Spade. While the print frenzy and cuteness overload may not be for everyone, it speaks to me every time. One look at the lively detail found in her Spring 2013 RTW collection explains it all. There’s the book clutches that appeal to the writer in me, the “Mrs” necklace I’d love to have if I were married, and the Cobble Hill Leslie bag I’ve wanted for months that will be mine one day when I’m not a broke college student. From adorable jewelry to the signature iPhone cases, shoes that sparkle in every way and accessories that sport relatable phrases for the fashionable working girl, it’s hard not to want it all.

My, Ms. Spade, I’ll be watching avidly as it keeps getting better.
